Recently unveiled in Europe, the all-new CB500X is powered by a 471cc liquid-cooled 4-stroke DOHC parallel twin engine that is rated to output 35.0kW at 8,500 rpm and 43.2 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. While these numbers could absolutely pull off fun in both on and off road adventures, it could also be a long-trip companion with it being expressway legal.
With its 17.7-liter fuel tank capacity, the Honda CB500X boasts excellent fuel economy with a decently healthy 27.8 km/L fuel consumption. First-time riders and enthusiasts will also be thrilled to ride this middleweight adventure tourer with its 199kg weight and a befitting 834mm seat height.
The all-new CB500X is both street-sensible and off-road capable thanks to its new inverted front fork Showa 41mm SFF-BP USD front suspension and new dual disk front brakes. It also boasts a larger 19-inch aluminum front wheel, giving more stability on the road for as well as comfortable handling. For the rear, the CB500X features Prolink Mono with a 5-stage pre-load adjuster and steel hollow cross swing arm rear suspension.
