Giving Filipinos another reliable utilitarian vehicle, Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) launches its newest lightweight truck, the all-new Isuzu Travis.

Introduced as a reliable business solution, Isuzu Traviz was unveiled by the truck manufacturer and distributor as the truck that would “Transcend your business.”

“The all-new Isuzu Traviz continues our tradition of providing not just reliable products but business solutions—reasons why, in the Philippines, Isuzu has been at the number one spot for more than 19 years,” said IPC President Hajime Koso in his speech during the media launch.

The newest Isuzu lightweight truck is powered by the tried and tested 4JA1 engine which now comes in Euro4 direct injection common rail Blue Power technology. This same mill powers the durable Isuzu Crosswind MPV. The updated and now turbo intercooled 4JA1 is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission that delivers power to the rear wheels. The All-New Isuzu Traviz is rated to carry up to 1.6 ton pay load the heaviest in the lightweight truck category.

Able to fit with various configurations such as drop-side bed, refrigerated van and passenger van, the all-new Isuzu Traviz comes in two variants, the Traviz S which is a short wheelbase version and the Traviz L or the long wheelbase version.

The Indonesian manufactured Isuzu Travis is offered by IPC with a 3-year or 100,000 warranty, whichever comes first. For pricing, the Traviz S is priced at PHP 962,000 while the Traviz L is priced at PHP 992,000.
