At the core of the BYD Shark 6 DMO is its Dual Mode Off-road (DMO) technology, which allows the truck to seamlessly switch between electric and fuel power modes, optimizing efficiency for any driving condition.
Powered by a 29.6kWh BYD Blade battery and a 1.5T onboard generator, the Shark 6 DMO features dual electric motors that produce a combined output of 435 PS and 650 Nm of torque—making it one of the most powerful pickups in its class. With all-wheel drive as standard across both variants, the Shark 6 DMO offers superior traction and stability in all terrains.

The BYD Shark 6 DMO stands out as a pickup that combines strength with modern sophistication. Built upon the Cell-to-Chassis framework, the Blade Battery is an integral part of the vehicle’s ladder frame, enhancing both safety and rigidity.
Its bold, muscular stance is highlighted by a striking front grille featuring the BYD mega symbol, LED headlights, and connected daytime running lights. Clean lines enhance both aesthetics and aerodynamics, while 18-inch alloy wheels add to its off-road-ready design.
Designed for both off-road exploration and urban driving, the Shark 6 DMO boasts an impressive 230 mm ground clearance and a 700 mm wading depth, ensuring it can handle rough terrain and flooded streets with ease. It has a payload capacity of 835 kg and a towing capacity of 2,500 kg, making it an ideal vehicle for hauling cargo and adventure gear.
For enhanced stability and ride comfort, the Shark 6 DMO is equipped with front and rear double wishbone suspension—an uncommon yet premium setup in pickup trucks. Additionally, the truck offers three driving modes—Eco, Normal, and Sport—as well as multi-terrain settings like Sand and Mud to adapt to various road conditions.

Inside, the BYD Shark 6 DMO blends premium materials with a minimalist design. Leather seats with orange accents provide a refined yet sporty feel. The Premium variant features a 6-way power-adjustable driver seat with 4-way lumbar support, as well as heated and ventilated front seats for maximum comfort.
Passenger comfort is also prioritized, with rear seats reclined at 27 degrees and enhanced knee room, ensuring a relaxed posture for long journeys. At the heart of the cabin is a 12.8-inch rotating touchscreen display with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, paired with an 8-speaker sound system that delivers an immersive audio experience.

The Premium variant adds Adaptive Cruise Control, Automatic Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Detection, Lane Departure Warning, and a Heads-Up Display for enhanced driver awareness.

The BYD Shark 6 DMO is priced at Php 2,098,000 for the Advanced variant and Php 2,298,000 for the Premium variant. First-time BYD customers who purchase a Shark 6 DMO by March 31, 2025, will receive a Php 50,000 discount. Current BYD owners who purchase by the same date will enjoy an additional Php 50,000 discount, bringing the total discount to Php 100,000. Available in three striking colors—Deep Sea Blue, Cosmos Black, and Aurora White—the BYD Shark 6 DMO comes with extensive warranty coverage: an 8-year or 160,000 km warranty for the BYD Blade battery, an 8-year or 150,000 km warranty for the drive unit, and a 6-year or 150,000 km warranty for the vehicle.
