MG Motor Philippines unveiled its latest SUV, the all-new MG D90 4WD, at the recently concluded 2025 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS). Positioned to compete in the highly competitive SUV-based pickup platform (PPV) segment, the D90 stood out with its bold styling, advanced features, and strong off-road capability.
Powering the D90 was a 2.0-liter Twin Turbo diesel engine paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The powertrain delivered an impressive 215 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque, all while meeting Euro 5 emission standards.
Its exterior design featured a commanding presence with a gloss-black grille, bold fascia, and rugged body cladding that enhanced its tough, go-anywhere character. As MG’s flagship SUV, the D90 came equipped with both middle and rear differential locks, underscoring its off-road credentials.
Inside, the D90 offered a premium driving experience. It featured dual 12.3-inch infotainment displays with seamless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Other upscale touches included an 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, optional second-row captain seats, a power sunroof, a 360-degree camera, and 64-color ambient lighting to elevate the cabin’s ambiance.
The D90 also showcased the latest in safety technology with a full suite of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). These included adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, lane-keep assist, blind spot monitoring, advanced emergency braking, and an adjustable overspeed alarm—ensuring peace of mind on every journey.
With the D90 4WD, MG Philippines reaffirmed its commitment to delivering world-class vehicles aligned with global standards. The launch served as a strong statement under the brand’s “MADE GLOBAL, MADE GREAT” campaign, reflecting MG’s growing presence and ambition in the SUV segment.
