VinFastPH Crowns Grand Prize Winner of VF 3: Brave New Imagination Creators Challenge at MIAS 2025

VinFast Philippines concluded its VF 3: Brave New Imagination Creators Challenge at the 2025 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS), announcing graphic designer Warren Carlo Trinidad as the grand prize winner for his striking decal concept titled “Lakbay (Journey).”

Launched in March 2025, the nationwide competition invited Filipino creatives to reimagine the VinFast VF 3, the brand’s all-electric mini SUV, with original decal designs. Among numerous entries, Trinidad’s submission stood out for its compelling visual storytelling that reflected themes of movement, adventure, and Filipino cultural identity.

“My design is inspired by travel, which allows me to relax and reconnect with myself,” Trinidad said. “This challenge was a great opportunity to fuse creativity, culture, and color. I’m thrilled to now drive a VF 3 that proudly showcases Lakbay.”

As the grand prize winner, Trinidad received a brand-new VinFast VF 3 wrapped in his winning design—becoming both its creator and first proud owner. Finalists were also honored during the awarding ceremony at the VinFast booth at the World Trade Center in Pasay City, receiving cash prizes for their outstanding entries.

The competition was judged by a distinguished panel of creatives and industry experts, including decal entrepreneur Gino Roberto, toy and graffiti artist Eryk “Creon Chkn” Lalic, and graphic designer Chuck Alpajaro. The panel praised the high level of artistry and cultural depth demonstrated in the submissions.

This initiative is part of VinFast’s broader effort to celebrate and support Filipino creativity. The brand continues to champion local talent through various collaborations, including a recent feature of the VF 3 in the music video of rising P-pop girl group KAIA. These efforts reflect VinFast’s innovative approach to marketing and its commitment to engaging the next generation of Filipino car buyers through culture, design, and technology.

The VinFast VF 3 is a compact electric SUV equipped with up to 40 horsepower, a 215-kilometer range, a 10-inch infotainment display, and fast-charging capability—reaching 70% in just 36 minutes. With a starting price of PHP 745,000, the VF 3 comes with a 7-year (or 160,000 km) vehicle warranty and an 8-year unlimited mileage battery warranty.

VinFast is also expanding its local presence, with six new dealerships and more than 60 service points currently in development. A recent memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Motech Automotive Philippines and JIGA Auto Service will extend EV servicing to over 100 authorized service centers nationwide, supporting the brand’s mission to build a sustainable and accessible future for Filipino motorists.
