In an unforgettable tribute to one of the most iconic names in motorsport, Lotus has revealed the Emira Clark Edition, a bespoke version of its celebrated sports car created in collaboration with the Jim Clark Trust. Only 60 units will be built for selected markets, and the model will make its grand entrance at the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix, leading the field in true champion style.
Jim Clark’s racing résumé remains one of the most astonishing in motorsport history. In 1965 alone, he clinched the Formula 1 World Championship, conquered the Indianapolis 500, and added titles in Formula 2, the Tasman Series, and touring car racing to his name — all in Lotus machinery. The Emira Clark Edition honours this unmatched legacy with a design and spirit true to the era and man that inspired it.
Design That Echoes a Champion
From the outside, the Emira Clark Edition pays homage with Clark Racing Green paint, a contrasting black roof, silver mirrors, and a vivid yellow racing stripe sweeping across the nose — a nod to Clark’s Lotus Type 38 Indy 500 winner. Yellow exhaust tips, a blue-anodised aluminium fuel cap, and bespoke badging elevate the exclusivity. A yellow hand-painted pinstripe traces the body line with precision.
The cabin is a direct callback to motorsport’s golden years. The asymmetrical seat layout features a red driver’s seat and a black passenger seat, both finished in leather and Alcantara®, reflecting the livery of Clark’s 1965 race cars. Nostalgic touches include a wooden gear knob, Team Lotus seat embroidery, and Jim Clark tartan-inspired accents. Every model includes carbon fibre treadplates numbered 1 through 60, and comes with a custom leather holdall designed exclusively for Clark Edition owners.

Beneath its retro exterior lies the proven heart of the Emira V6 — a 400 hp supercharged 3.5-litre engine, paired with a six-speed manual gearbox and limited-slip differential.
