In anticipation of the National Elections on May 12 and Mother’s Day on May 11, the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) has activated its “Oplan Biyaheng Ayos” to accommodate a projected 1.2 million passengers from May 5 to 13.
Working in close coordination with the DOTr, LTFRB, LTO, MMDA, and PNP, PITX has enhanced security and operational readiness across the terminal. Round-the-clock deployment of law enforcement, K9 units, and roving guards ensures public safety. Real-time arrival and dispatch monitoring systems are in place, with ground crews and assistance desks available to support passenger needs.
Essential amenities such as clean restrooms, waiting lounges, and organized boarding gates remain available for travelers. As families travel home to vote and celebrate Mother’s Day, PITX emphasizes its commitment to a safe, clean, and commuter-friendly experience.
“This weekend is a convergence of two important events—our national elections and the celebration of mothers. PITX stands ready to support both by making sure passengers can travel home safely and comfortably,” said Jason Salvador, Corporate Affairs and Government Relations Director.
Passengers are reminded to allow extra travel time and follow PITX’s official social media channels for real-time advisories.
