GWM Achieves 100,061 Global Vehicle Sales in April, Strengthening International Growth


Great Wall Motor (GWM) reported global sales of 100,061 vehicles in April 2025, highlighting the brand’s accelerating momentum in the international automotive market. This achievement reflects the growing appeal of GWM’s diversified product lineup and its ongoing innovation across both traditional and new energy vehicle (NEV) segments.

NEVs played a significant role in this success, with 28,813 units sold—an increase of 28.42% compared to April 2024. Additionally, sales of boxy, off-road-capable vehicles reached 43,182 units, marking a 24.74% year-on-year growth. These figures reinforce GWM’s competitive position in high-demand vehicle categories.

The company’s sustained global expansion is driven by consumer confidence in its broad range of advanced and design-forward vehicles, including the Tank, Haval, POER (marketed as the Cannon in the Philippines), ORA, and Wey models.

GWM Philippines Exceeds April Sales Target by 124%

GWM’s momentum is equally evident in the Philippines, where the company surpassed its April sales target by 124%. This performance underscores the growing trust among Filipino consumers and highlights the brand’s strengthening presence in the local automotive landscape.

The recent unveiling of the New GWM Cannon and the public preview of the Haval H9 at the 2025 Manila International Auto Show at the World Trade Center contributed to heightened consumer interest.
