Isuzu Bacoor has officially launched the Isuzu Japan-Spec Refrigerated Van at a dealership event in Cavite, positioning it as a robust solution for businesses involved in temperature-sensitive logistics.
The J-Spec van combines Isuzu’s renowned commercial vehicle platform with a suite of Japanese-made components. The centerpiece of the cooling system is a Denso refrigeration unit, powered by Japan’s top compressor technology. Known for its precision and efficiency, the system ensures reliable temperature control—critical for transporting fresh produce, frozen goods, and pharmaceuticals.
Enhancing the van’s cold chain capability is the insulated Cooltech van body, manufactured by Centro Nippon Fruehauf Cooltech Inc. Using high-grade materials and Japanese production techniques, it is designed for superior thermal insulation, long-term durability, and low operating costs.
“This product delivers more than just cold transport—it offers lasting value for logistics and food businesses,” said Leah Alfonso, Sales Manager of Isuzu Bacoor. “It’s a strategic investment for companies that need consistent, reliable performance.”

Centro Nippon Fruehauf Cooltech Inc. President Raffy Juan reinforced the product’s alignment with Japan’s standards for quality. “This van protects the integrity of goods, maintaining freshness from source to destination. We’re pleased to bring this level of technology to the local market,” he shared.
Attendees at the event observed a live cooling demo and inspected the van’s build quality. The presentation drew strong interest from fleet managers and logistics providers, particularly those seeking efficient solutions for the country’s evolving cold chain landscape.
With growing demand for high-quality refrigerated transport in multiple sectors, the Isuzu J-Spec Refrigerated Van represents a forward-looking option—engineered with Japanese precision and built for Philippine roads.
