Hongqi Philippines, under the stewardship of Max888 Auto, marked a significant milestone with the inauguration of its Manila Bay showroom and the official launch of the all-electric EH7 and EHS7 models on May 27, 2025. The event underscores the brand’s strategic growth and its deepening commitment to the Philippine automotive landscape.
As the industry shifts toward sustainable mobility, the EH7 sedan and EHS7 SUV represent Hongqi’s most advanced offerings to date. These fully electric vehicles embody the marque’s vision of combining performance, innovation, and design in a seamless and refined package.
Both models are equipped with a dual-motor all-wheel drive system producing 455 kW (610 hp) and 756 Nm of torque. The EH7 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds, while the EHS7 achieves the same in 3.9 seconds. Powering both vehicles is a state-of-the-art 111 kWh battery that provides an estimated range of up to 650 km for the EH7 and 540 km for the EHS7. Fast-charging capabilities allow the battery to be charged from 10% to 80% in just 20 minutes.
Inside the cabin, the EH7 and EHS7 offer a high level of comfort and craftsmanship, highlighted by hand-stitched Nappa leather seats and the Intelligent Damping Control System (IDCS), which actively adjusts suspension dynamics to ensure a smooth and stable ride.
The exterior design introduces Hongqi’s latest visual identity, defined by sleek, flowing lines that convey elegance and motion. Notable design elements include a panoramic glass roof with 99% UV protection, retractable door handles with electric suction, and acoustic glass on the front doors to reduce cabin noise.
Both vehicles have been awarded a 5-star Euro NCAP safety rating, reflecting their structural integrity and comprehensive suite of Level 2 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). Features include automatic emergency braking, a 360-degree around-view monitor, and intelligent parking assistance.
The EH7 and EHS7 are offered in two trims: Executive and Flagship. Pricing starts at ₱2,280,000 for the EH7 Executive and ₱2,880,000 for the Flagship. The EHS7 Executive begins at ₱2,580,000, with the Flagship variant priced at ₱3,080,000. The Flagship versions offer additional enhancements such as advanced ambient lighting, premium audio systems, and exclusive design accents, along with extended range and added power.
To encourage early adoption, Hongqi Philippines is offering a special incentive for the first 30 pre-orders: a complimentary 3kW portable charger and a 7kW wall-mounted home charger. Buyers will also receive six months of free charging or up to ₱50,000 worth of charging credits at EVOxCharge stations nationwide.
