Aston Martin’s next-generation supercar, Valhalla, made its highly anticipated dynamic debut on the streets of Monaco ahead of the Formula One Grand Prix weekend. Driven by Fernando Alonso, two-time Formula One World Champion and driver for the Aston Martin Aramco F1 team, the Valhalla completed its first public dynamic run following extensive validation testing on road and track.
The occasion marked a new chapter in Aston Martin’s commitment to innovation and performance, with Valhalla bringing Formula One-derived technologies to the road. Developed in close collaboration with Aston Martin Performance Technologies (AMPT), the vehicle incorporates advanced aerodynamic features, materials engineering, and dynamic tuning refined through racing expertise.
Having only appeared previously as a static display, the Valhalla was presented in Podium Green with Lime Green detailing—reflecting the design language of the AMR25 Formula One car—as it was driven through Monaco’s challenging street circuit. From the famed Casino Square to the high-speed Tunnel, the supercar demonstrated its exceptional balance, control, and hybrid power delivery.
“This is a milestone not just for Aston Martin, but also for me personally,” said Alonso. “Being involved in Valhalla’s development and now showcasing its capability at Monaco—where precision and performance are everything—confirms its place among true supercars. It’s a machine that engages all your senses.”
Adrian Hallmark, CEO of Aston Martin, emphasized the importance of the debut: “Valhalla represents the future of performance for Aston Martin. This car pushes the boundaries of what we expect from a supercar, both in terms of technology and emotion. Seeing it in motion in Monaco, driven by one of the greatest, affirms our vision.”
Delivering 1,079 PS and 1,100 Nm, Valhalla is powered by a hybrid system featuring a bespoke 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine—the most powerful V8 in the brand’s history—paired with a new 8-speed Dual Clutch Transmission, front axle twin motors for torque vectoring, and a dedicated EV mode. It is also the brand’s first series-production mid-engined supercar and its first plug-in hybrid with full electric drive capability.
Limited to 999 units, production of the Valhalla begins with deliveries expected in the second half of 2025, signaling the arrival of a new benchmark in high-performance automotive engineering.
