In a continued effort to contribute to community upliftment, Metro Pacific Tollways South (MPT South) extended its support to the Department of Education’s Brigada Eskwela 2025 campaign, “Sama-sama Para sa Bayang Bumabasa,” by donating 900 school supply kits to public schools in Cavite and Parañaque. The donation drive was held from June 9 to 11, 2025, ahead of the upcoming school year.
MPT South’s initiative was designed to assist families with back-to-school preparations and to equip students with the basic learning tools necessary to begin the school year confidently. The kits—comprising ballpens, notebooks, pad paper, and crayons—were distributed to students in various schools and community centers in Imus, Silang, General Trias, Kawit, Bacoor, and Parañaque.
Among the beneficiaries were Alapan II-B and Malagasang II-B Barangay Halls, Hipolito Saquilayan High School, and Alapan II-A Elementary School in Imus; Tibig Elementary School in Silang; Cecilio M. Saliba Elementary School, Governor Ferrer Memorial Integrated National High School, and General Trias Memorial Elementary School in General Trias; Florante Ilano Elementary School and Binakayan National High School in Kawit; Perville Daycare Center, Sto. Niño Elementary School, and San Dionisio Elementary School in Parañaque; and Salinas and Longos Elementary Schools in Bacoor.

A key moment during the outreach was the ceremonial turnover held at Salinas Elementary School, which aligned with the official launch of Brigada Eskwela 2025 in Bacoor City.
Arlette V. Capistrano, MPT South’s Vice President for Communication and Stakeholder Management, underscored the broader significance of the initiative. “We see our responsibility not only in infrastructure but also in building resilient and empowered communities. Supporting students through Brigada Eskwela is one way we invest in the nation’s future.”
The activity forms part of MPT South’s comprehensive Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) framework, which focuses on creating a positive impact through programs in education, sustainability, safety, and livelihood development.
