Harley-Davidson concluded the third edition of its Asia Harley Days 2024 with a thrilling moto-music festival that drew over 4,000 attendees from more than 19 countries and territories, including Thailand, South Korea, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines, India, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, China, Japan, and Australia. Held on November 15-16, 2024, at the picturesque Singha Park in Chiang Rai, the event was open to all motorcycle enthusiasts and fans of the Harley-Davidson lifestyle. Organized in partnership with the Singha Soda Music Concert, the festival brought together riders, 80 Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.) chapters, and over 100 motorcycle clubs to celebrate the iconic brand with live music, adrenaline-pumping activities, and vibrant motorcycle culture.
The festival began with an awe-inspiring parade led by Dimitris Raptis, Vice President, Asia Pacific of Harley-Davidson, and Titiporn Thammapimookkul, Chief Marketing Officer of Boonrawd Trading Co., Ltd. Over 1,000 Harley-Davidson motorcycles cruised through the stunning Chiang Rai White Temple (Wat Rong Khun) before returning to Singha Park for the festivities. Dr. Preecha Anurak, Deputy Mayor of Chiang Rai Municipality and Secretary-General of the Chiang Rai Provincial Sports Association, flagged off the parade. Harley-Davidson Asia also extended its support to local flood relief efforts.
Attendees enjoyed high-energy performances by popular acts such as Youngohm, Instinct, Joneloydnuan, NUVO, Stone Metal Fire, Pae MVL, Aomsin and the Boys, DJ Naanza, and DJ Karn. Exciting activities included the Custom Kings Asia finale, a fashion show, awards night, motorcycle stunts, games, and contests. Guests explored sponsor booths, shopped for H-D MotorClothes and genuine apparel, and test-rode the latest 2024 Harley-Davidson models. The Custom Kings Asia competition concluded with the Kings of the Kings round, featuring finalists from online and local custom shows. Vijayan Sukumaran of Malaysia won with his VJ1010 (Road Glide) build and will represent Asia at the 2025 Homecoming festival. Additional prizes included a 2024 Low Rider S motorcycle, courtesy of the Harley-Davidson x Singha Soda partnership.
A special screening of “The Bikeriders,” an acclaimed film celebrating motorcycle culture, added to the event’s allure. Attendees also embraced Thai traditions by participating in the Loy Krathong festival, releasing illuminated floating baskets onto the water for a magical cultural experience.
Mark O’Flaherty, Managing Director, Asia Emerging Markets & India at Harley-Davidson, stated, “Asia Harley Days 2024 is more than just a moto-music festival; it’s a celebration of the passion and camaraderie that unite riders across Asia.
