PITX Medical Mission Delivers Vital Healthcare Services to Transport Workers

As part of its ongoing commitment to social responsibility, the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) concluded another successful run of its medical outreach initiative, Serbisyong Alay Para sa Transport Heroes, on June 20, 2025.

Hosted at PITX’s second floor, the medical mission catered to 125 individuals, including transport personnel, terminal employees, and commuters. The event was spearheaded by Barkada ni Pete, PITX’s CSR program that focuses on community upliftment. The high turnout reflects both the initiative’s growing relevance and the increasing need for accessible medical care in the transportation sector.

In partnership with Unilab, Executive Optical, and the Philippine Air Force, the event offered a range of free health services including general medical check-ups, eye tests, bone scanning, and anemia screening.

“Our transport frontliners are vital to the daily lives of millions. Through programs like Barkada ni Pete, we ensure that their well-being is not overlooked,” said Jason Salvador, Director for Corporate Affairs and Government Relations at PITX.

Now in its fourth run, the PITX medical mission continues to make a tangible difference—championing health, safety, and dignity for the people who help keep the country moving.
