A roaring convoy of 180 Suzuki Jimnys descended upon The Nest Resort and Campgrounds from February 27 to March 1, marking the grand return of JIMNYFEST 2025—a celebration of adventure, camaraderie, and off-road passion. With nearly 500 attendees, including international participants from the US, Japan, and Thailand, the festival proved that the Jimny spirit knows no boundaries.
The adventure kicked off with a thrilling off-road trail challenge at Calabasa River, Gabaldon, where Jimny owners put their beloved 4x4s to the test. The excitement continued with an opening ceremony led by Palayan City Mayor Vianne Cuevas, reinforcing the festival’s significance in the local community.
Suzuki Philippines stood at the heart of the celebration, further strengthening its bond with the Jimny community. During the Jimny Legends Awards Night, Mr. Yasuki Nakagawa, Assistant to the General Manager and Sales Department Head of Suzuki Philippines, shared the brand’s deep appreciation for its loyal enthusiasts. “This year is extra special as Suzuki Philippines celebrates 50 years of delivering quality mobility and adventure. We’re thrilled to be part of this incredible event that embodies the true essence of the Jimny.”
A major highlight of the festival was the introduction of the Jimny Rhino Edition, built for thrill-seekers craving rugged performance. Suzuki also offered an exclusive promo on the Jimny 5-Door, making the dream of Jimny ownership even more exciting.
The Jimny community’s creativity and passion were also in the spotlight as the Jimny Legends Awards honored the best custom builds, including the Best Overland Build, Best Engine and Performance, and The Jimny Hub Choice Award. Making its debut this year was the Next Gen Award, celebrating the finest Jimny 5-Door modification. The awards night wrapped up with a spectacular fireworks show, capping off an unforgettable experience.
Beyond the off-road action, the festival offered a variety of activities for attendees of all ages. Families enjoyed test drives by Wheeltek, a DIY pizza-making demo by Oven Depot, and exciting games for the little Suzuki Safety Scouts.
