ACMobility Sets New Benchmark with PH’s Fastest EV Chargers, Expands Presence in Makati

ACMobility continues to lead the charge in advancing the Philippines’ EV infrastructure, launching its fastest electric vehicle chargers yet in the heart of Makati. Installed at the Corinthians Carpark and soon at Leviste Carpark, these new charging stations deliver 240 kW and 480 kW output, enabling EV drivers to charge in as fast as 10 to 15 minutes.

Developed in partnership with Ayala Land, Inc. (ALI) and the Makati Commercial Estate Association (MACEA), the new stations signal a major step forward in ACMobility’s vision for cleaner, smarter mobility across the country.

“With Makati’s position as a central business and residential hub—and a leader in sustainability—it is the ideal location for our most powerful chargers yet,” said Carla Buencamino, Head of Mobility Infrastructure at ACMobility. “We are investing in infrastructure that meets the growing demand for fast, reliable charging where it’s needed most.”

The Corinthians Carpark facility includes nine DC charging slots—four SuperFast 240 kW chargers with dual guns and one 480 kW UltraFast charger, the fastest currently available in the country. A dedicated slot for vans and minibuses ensures the site is inclusive of both private and commercial vehicles.

These installations are seamlessly integrated with Evro, ACMobility’s mobile app that manages charger discovery, session initiation, live monitoring, and payments. Charging costs ₱35 per kWh, with membership options offering up to 20% savings.

To address areas where permanent infrastructure is limited, ACMobility has deployed its Power-on-Wheels (POW) mobile charging units across select cities in Metro Manila. Makati, Taguig, and Mandaluyong are among the first to benefit, with additional deployments planned in Quezon City, Manila, Pasig, Pasay, San Juan, and Muntinlupa.

With 70 active charging points across 16 sites in Makati alone—and a projected expansion to 100 across 22 sites—Makati now stands as ACMobility’s most electrified city. The company aims to install over 700 charging points nationwide by the end of 2025, reinforcing its role as a key player in the national clean transport movement.

All charging at the Corinthians Carpark is powered entirely by renewable energy, thanks to a new partnership with ACEN Renewable Energy Solutions (ACEN RES). Enabled through the Department of Energy’s Green Energy Option Program, this initiative allows EV drivers to charge with energy sourced from solar, wind, and geothermal, without the need for on-site systems.

“This partnership with ACEN RES not only makes our stations cleaner but also strengthens our commitment to the country’s renewable energy goals,” Buencamino added.

The Makati network launch is part of ACMobility’s broader initiative to build the Philippine EV Spine—a national fast-charging network connecting urban centers, business districts, and residential communities across the country.

“Each new location brings us closer to a future where driving electric is not just possible, but practical for everyone,” Buencamino concluded.
