Philippine EV Logistics Pioneer Mober Enters Thailand, Accelerates Southeast Asia Expansion

Mober, a leading provider of electric vehicle-powered logistics services in the Philippines, has expanded its operations into Thailand, reflecting the company’s strategic commitment to accelerating sustainable delivery infrastructure in Southeast Asia.

With an initial rollout of 21 electric trucks now servicing IKEA Thailand in Bangkok’s Bang Na district, Mober has also established a dedicated 1,600-square-meter charging facility. This hub features four 22-kW standard chargers and two 60-kW fast chargers, designed to optimize vehicle turnaround and support 150 to 200 deliveries daily.

“Our expansion into Thailand is a major step forward in fulfilling our mission of driving zero-emission logistics across the region,” said Jade Hugo, Co-founder and Head of New Business at Mober. “This market presents both growth opportunities and a strong foundation for clean mobility adoption.”

The move builds on a series of significant milestones for Mober in 2025. Earlier this year, the company launched the country’s first all-electric tractor head truck, followed by the opening of a 3,000-square-meter, 56-port commercial EV charging hub—currently the largest in the Philippines.

“This initiative reflects our long-term vision to become Southeast Asia’s foremost green logistics enabler,” added CEO Dennis Ng. “Beyond deploying electric vehicles, we are committed to establishing a scalable, sustainable logistics infrastructure that will support regional economic growth and environmental goals.”

To support its continued expansion, Mober is in the process of raising additional capital to grow its EV fleet in Thailand and enhance operations in the Philippines. A broader fleet expansion is targeted for early 2026.

Mober’s regional push follows its recognition in the Forbes Asia 100 to Watch List in 2024. The company officially received the honor during the Forbes Asia 100 to Watch Forum held on May 20, 2025, at the Four Seasons Hotel in Singapore. Themed “Future Driven,” the event highlighted emerging leaders in innovation and sustainability across the region.

“This award underscores the significance of our work,” said Ng. “We remain dedicated to helping partners reduce carbon emissions without capital expenditure, and to creating value through clean logistics solutions across Southeast Asia.”
