ACMobility is fast-tracking the future of electric mobility in the Philippines. Before April ends, the company is set to activate over 30 new charging stations nationwide—marking a significant milestone in its journey toward a 700-site network by the end of 2025.
“This year marks a turning point for us,” said ACMobility CEO Jaime Alfonso Zobel de Ayala. “We’re deepening our efforts to make EV charging faster, easier, and more accessible—particularly in regions where infrastructure has traditionally been lacking.”
The new stations form part of ACMobility’s “Charge Forward” campaign, which focuses on tackling range anxiety by placing chargers in strategic locations—high-traffic zones and key travel routes. Equipped with advanced “Superfast” and “UltraFast” chargers delivering up to 480kW, these stations drastically cut down the time it takes to power up an EV.
But the expansion goes beyond urban centers. ACMobility is branching out to underserved and rural areas—like the northern Luzon corridor from La Union to Tuguegarao, multiple provinces in Panay including Antique and Aklan, and key cities in Mindanao such as Iligan, Butuan, and Tagum.
To enhance convenience, ACMobility recently launched a nationwide membership program offering EV users fixed monthly rates and access to lower charging fees. Members can enjoy DC fast charging at just P28/kW and AC charging at P22.8/kW within Metro Manila. Regional prices may vary, but the goal remains the same: to make EV ownership more practical and appealing for more Filipinos.
