Japanese automotive parts maker Aisin entered this year’s Manila Auto Salon with the soft launch of its new automotive battery lineup, marking its first move into the Philippines’ battery market. The preview took place during the four-day show from November 13 to 16, 2025, at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City, giving visitors an early look at the Aisin Battery ahead of its scheduled release in the first quarter of 2026.
Technical specifics remain under wraps for now, but Aisin confirmed that the upcoming battery will be manufactured in Malaysia and positioned as a durable, OEM-grade option suited for various vehicle types. The brand noted that the product was developed in response to rising demand for reliable power sources, especially as modern vehicles rely more heavily on stable electrical systems.
With the soft launch completed, Aisin is expected to share more details in the months leading up to the battery’s official market introduction.

Aside from the product reveal, Aisin maintained a lively presence on the show floor. Its booth hosted games and small challenges that kept foot traffic steady throughout the weekend. Families and car enthusiasts alike dropped by for the activities, with freebies adding to the booth’s appeal.
Aisin’s participation at the 2025 Manila Auto Salon forms part of its ongoing push to reinforce its presence in the Philippine aftermarket. The company has indicated that more new products are lined up for 2026 as it continues broadening its range of automotive solutions for local motorists.
Founded in 1965, Aisin has grown into a major supplier of original automotive equipment, operating manufacturing hubs across Asia, including Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, and China. Its forthcoming battery lineup adds to its existing footprint in the Philippines, where it is already recognized for components such as brake systems, drivetrain parts, lubricants, and various maintenance items.
