A joint report from the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (CAMPI) and the Truck Manufacturers Association (TMA) reveals that Year-to-Date (YTD) automotive sales for February 2025 have shown a positive trajectory. A total of 76,768 units were sold, reflecting a 6.4% increase compared to the 72,132 units sold during the same period in 2024.

Several factors have contributed to the upward trend in sales, including stable supply chains, rising consumer interest in electric and autonomous vehicles, and broader global economic conditions. Technological advancements in areas such as artificial intelligence, sensors, and infotainment systems are also poised to further transform the automotive landscape in the coming years, further driving positive sales growth.

Toyota Motor Philippines Corporation continues to lead the market with a commanding 47.67% share, followed by Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation at 20.25%. Other notable players include Nissan Philippines, Inc. at 5.79%, Suzuki Philippines, Inc. at 4.63%, and Ford Group Philippines with a 4.34% share.
