Chery Auto Philippines (CAP) recently held the prestigious GRIT Awards at the ACEA Beach Resort in Subic. The GRIT Awards is an annual celebration of its dealer partners’ exceptional performance, honoring their resilience, dedication, and significant achievements in a competitive automotive market. The event highlighted those who have excelled in navigating the challenges of evolving customer needs and the ever-changing automotive landscape in 2024.
“Standing here at this beautiful seaside venue, I’m reminded of this year’s theme: ‘Navigators.’ Much like the ships that once charted these waters, you—our dealer partners—have been true navigators of success. You’ve steered through the shifting tides of the automotive industry and continue to guide Chery towards growth and new opportunities,” said Rommel Sytin, Chairman of United Automotive Group Incorporated (UAAGI).
The GRIT Awards, which stands for Guts, Resilience, Initiative, and Tenacity, is organized by UAAGI to celebrate the dedication and outstanding contributions of its dealers in delivering top-tier sales, service, and customer satisfaction.
“The automotive world is dynamic and often challenging, but you have all shown what true GRIT is. It’s not just a word; it embodies everything that makes you the leaders in this industry,” Sytin added.

For the fourth year in a row, Chery Alabang was awarded the coveted Dealer of the Year Award (DOYA) for its exceptional performance in sales, aftersales, customer relations, and overall operations throughout 2024. This marks Chery Alabang’s fourth consecutive win, having previously won the award in 2021, 2022, and 2023.
“This recognition is a testament to our team’s dedication and our unwavering commitment to our customers. We always aim to serve and continually innovate to attract new customers,” said Mark Chiongbian, Dealer Principal of Chery Alabang.
Along with the Dealer of the Year perpetual trophy, Chery Alabang was presented with a Php 1 million cash prize from Chery Auto Philippines.
