DHL Express has been honored with the E-mobility Award for EV Technology Adoption at the 12th Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit, recognizing its leadership in adopting electric vehicles (EVs) within the local logistics industry.
Since 2021, DHL Express has been expanding its electric fleet, which now includes 47 EVs, representing 24% of its total fleet in the Philippines. This aligns with DHL Group’s target of electrifying 60% of its last-mile delivery vehicles by 2030.
“We are thrilled to be recognized for our efforts to reduce the environmental impact of our operations. This award highlights our commitment to sustainability and our ongoing work to implement decarbonization initiatives,” said Nigel Lockett, Country Manager of DHL Express Philippines.
DHL Express’s dedication to sustainability extends to its air freight operations as well, with the launch of the GoGreen Plus service in 2023. GoGreen Plus helps customers reduce greenhouse gas emissions by utilizing Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), a renewable and eco-friendly alternative to conventional jet fuel. This service is part of DHL Group’s commitment to achieve net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.

DHL Express continues to be at the forefront of sustainable logistics, combining electric vehicles, sustainable aviation solutions, and innovative technologies to lead the way in green logistics.
