The Ford Everest has long been the brand’s challenger in the highly competitive mid-size SUV market. This time, Ford Philippines is giving it a new twist with the introduction of the Ford Everest Wildtrak.

This latest variant blends the familiar traits of the Everest with the rugged styling cues and upscale touches of the Ford Ranger Wildtrak. Under the hood is a 2.0-liter diesel engine, available in single-turbo and bi-turbo configurations.

The single turbo delivers 170 hp and 405 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. For those looking for more punch, the bi-turbo version produces 210 hp and 500 Nm, mated to a 10-speed automatic gearbox.

On the outside, the Everest Wildtrak stands out with its Wildtrak-exclusive grille, bumpers, and fender flares, all finished in Bolder Grey. These are matched with Matrix LED headlamps with adaptive front lighting, 20-inch alloy wheels, dual recovery hooks, a panoramic moonroof, and roof rails. A distinct “Wildtrak” badge on the tailgate sets it apart.

The interior retains the same Wildtrak identity, featuring orange stitching on the dashboard, doors, armrests, and steering wheel. At the center of the cabin is Ford’s 12-inch touchscreen, powered by SYNC, which offers connectivity, navigation, and entertainment in one unit.

In terms of safety and driver assistance, the Everest Wildtrak comes standard with features such as adaptive cruise control, pre-collision assist with pedestrian detection, evasive steer assist, lane keeping aid, blind spot information system with cross traffic alert, reverse brake assist, and a 360-degree camera. Notably, Ford Philippines points out that the Everest Wildtrak 4×2 is the only 4×2 variant in the lineup equipped with this complete package of driver-assist features.

Pricing starts at P2,379,000 for the 2.0L Turbo 4×2, while the 2.0L Bi-Turbo 4×4 is listed at P2,640,000. Color options include Luxe Yellow (in limited numbers), Blue Lightning, Absolute Black, and Meteor Grey. Snowflake White Pearl is also available for an additional P20,000.
