The holiday season is upon us, and the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) is gearing up to welcome an estimated 3 million passengers from December 20, 2024, to January 6, 2025. Whether you’re traveling to reunite with family or just heading out for a holiday escape, PITX is here to ensure your “Biyaheng Ayos” goes off without a hitch.
The rush kicks off on December 20, when travelers start making their way home. Expect busy days leading up to December 23 as families finalize holiday plans, with another wave of passengers hitting the road during the last weekend of December for New Year celebrations. By January 6, as everyone gets back to work and school, the holiday travel season will wind down.
Making Your Trip Easy and Stress-Free
To handle the surge, PITX is teaming up with DOTr, LTFRB, LTO, and MMDA. Together, they’ve got all bases covered: extra buses, thorough safety inspections, and improved traffic management. Terminal staff and marshals will be on hand to help, while real-time updates on travel schedules will keep you in the loop. And yes, PITX will be open 24/7, so even the late-night travelers are taken care of!
“Family time is precious, especially during the holidays,” says Jason Salvador, PITX’s Corporate Affairs and Government Relations Director. “That’s why we’re pulling out all the stops to make sure everyone has a smooth, worry-free journey.”
Don’t forget to plan ahead: book tickets early, show up on time, and follow terminal rules to keep everything running smoothly.
