Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) has officially launched the Honda Certified Pre-Owned website on July 7, 2025—an online platform designed to streamline the resale of used Honda vehicles. Operated directly by HCPI, the platform provides a safe, convenient, and trustworthy way for Honda owners to sell their vehicles and for buyers to purchase quality pre-owned units with confidence.
To be eligible for listing, vehicles must undergo one of two certification processes: Verified Care or Certified Plus. These programs, introduced earlier this year, aim to maximize the resale value of Honda vehicles while assuring buyers of their quality.
The Verified Care certification is granted to vehicles that have completed at least one Periodic Maintenance Service (PMS) per year over a three-year period. Certification is awarded upon completion of the third PMS.
The Certified Plus program, meanwhile, includes a comprehensive 288-point inspection, necessary repairs using only genuine Honda parts and lubricants, and the issuance of an official Quality Certification. Vehicles that meet this higher standard may be listed as Certified Plus units. This certification is currently available at all Honda dealerships in Luzon and Metro Manila, with expansion to Visayas and Mindanao dealerships underway.
By offering this direct-to-customer resale platform, HCPI eliminates the need for third-party classified sites. Buyers can browse listings with the confidence that every vehicle has been reviewed and verified by HCPI, ensuring both transparency and peace of mind.
As an added benefit, both parties will receive incentives for each successful transaction. Sellers will be awarded a New Car Purchase Voucher, redeemable at any Honda Cars dealership and stackable with existing promotions. Buyers will receive a Periodic Maintenance Service Voucher, reinforcing Honda’s commitment to continued vehicle care.
