HondaPH marks historic 10-Millionth Motorcycle Sales Milestone

Honda Philippines, Inc. (HPI), the leading motorcycle manufacturer in the country, has achieved a remarkable milestone by selling its 10-millionth motorcycle unit. This significant accomplishment was celebrated in an event led by HPI President Ms. Sayaka Arai-Hattori, accompanied by the HPI Management Team, supportive dealers, and loyal customers. The milestone unit was the Click125, reinforcing Honda’s position as the only brand in the Philippines to reach such heights.

To commemorate this achievement, a special Click125 model featuring a unique 10M sticker was unveiled during a sendoff ceremony.

HPI’s Journey to 10 Million Sales

HPI’s journey to this milestone began in 2006 when it relocated to Batangas to meet the rising demand for motorcycles. The TMX155, known for its strength and suitability for business use, was one of the initial models contributing to this success. Another key model was the XRM, a favorite among Filipinos for its durability and versatility, particularly popular in the Visayas and Mindanao regions for its off-road capabilities.

In 2018, Honda introduced the Click125, dubbed the “Game Changer” for its modern, sporty design and advanced features. This model quickly became the number one in the Automatic Transmission (AT) category, boosting HPI’s market dominance. Honda’s decision to locally produce the BeAT and Click125 further solidified its market position, ensuring it met the growing demand.

Despite recent challenges, HPI has maintained strong partnerships with its dealers and continued to capitalize on growth opportunities, driven by the increasing demand for enhanced riding and commuting experiences. This resilience has reinforced its status as the leading motorcycle manufacturer in the Philippines by market share.
