Hariphil Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI), the exclusive Philippine distributor of Hyundai trucks and buses, has teamed up with SM Supermalls and Park Solutions, Inc. to bolster the national PUV Modernization Program through the Arangkada Pilipinas Biyahenyo Caravan.

The caravan’s goal is to engage PUV drivers by showcasing the benefits of PUV modernization. It highlights HARI’s best-selling, DOTr-certified MPUVs Class 2 and 4, renowned for their power, fuel efficiency, toughness, space, comfort, and safety, through a series of entertaining and informative activities.

From May 28 to 30, 2024, the caravan visited SM City North EDSA, SM Mall of Asia, and SM City Fairview. It engaged transport cooperative leaders and PUV drivers in educational sessions that emphasized the importance and urgency of modernizing local PUVs.

The event featured discussions with representatives from the transport cooperatives, explaining the critical elements of the national MPUV program. It also included demonstrations of the Hyundai MPUV Class 2 and 4 models.

Participants, including members and representatives of transport services corporations, expressed enthusiasm and optimism for future events. They appreciated the comprehensive insights into accelerating PUV modernization, the support available from both government and private sectors, and the benefits of investing in Hyundai’s MPUV lineup. The caravan was particularly well-received, offering participants a hands-on experience with the Hyundai MPUV models, noted for their performance, durability, fuel efficiency, comfort, safety, and excellent after-sales service.

“I have always advocated education in all its forms. We have witnessed how delivering the right information through the Biyahenyo Caravans has encouraged our friends from the transport cooperatives to embrace PUV modernization,” said HARI President and CEO Maria Fe Perez-Agudo.

The Arangkada Pilipinas Biyahenyo Caravan is set to roll out in other regions next. For more updates, follow the official Facebook page of Hyundai Truck & Bus Philippines at facebook.com/hyundaitrucksandbusesph or visit their website at www.hyundaitrucksandbusesph.com
