Japanese motor oil company Idemitsu, officially launched the brand’s latest series of engine oils in the Philippines. Brought in by IDEMITSU Lubricants Philippines, Inc., the company’s subsidiary in the country, the brand launched the IDEMITSU IFG (Idemitsu Four-wheelers’ Gasoline), IFD (Idemitsu Four-wheelers’ Dual), and IRG (Idemitsu Riders’ Gasoline) at the recent 2023 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS). Idemitsu’s exhibit at the renowned local auto expo also served as the brand’s first Philippine public launch since Idemitsu’s official arrival in the country.
Idemitsu Philippines started its operations back in 2018 as a lubricant sales and marketing company that offers premium engine oil products and unique formulations to major Japanese OEMs in the country. Gracing the brand’s momentous event in the Philippines is Idemitsu Kosan global marketing manager Toshihiro Sato who flew in for the Idemitsu product launch at MIAS.
Since the company’s establishment in 1911, Idemitsu carries over 110 years of lubriants production expertise using state-of-the-art oil technology. After over a century, the company has braved countless crises, at the same time, developed and expanded into various businesses and industries. Recognizing the ever-growing riding community in the country, Idemitsu also brought in the IRG series of engine oils which offers race-bred formula to maintain high performance in high temperature conditions that motorcycle riders experience on a daily basis.
