Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) actively participated in the SILAKBO (Sikad-Lakad-Takbo) Fun Run 2025, held at South Evozone, Nuvali, in Santa Rosa, Laguna. Organized by the Save Silang-Santa Rosa River Foundation, Inc. (S3R2) in partnership with the City Government of Santa Rosa, the annual event promotes environmental awareness and sustainability.
SILAKBO aims to raise funds for the protection and rehabilitation of the Silang-Santa Rosa River—an essential water source for the cities of Santa Rosa, Biñan, and Cabuyao in Laguna, as well as Silang in Cavite. A portion of the proceeds will support a tree planting activity scheduled for June 2025 in celebration of Arbor Day.
As a board member of S3R2 and one of the event’s major sponsors, MMPC contributed ₱100,000 to support the cause. The company’s involvement reflects its strong commitment to corporate social responsibility and environmental stewardship. SILAKBO also brought together various companies, organizations, and fitness enthusiasts, united in their advocacy for river preservation, health, and wellness. Thousands joined the fun run across different race categories.
Highlighting its presence, MMPC set up a booth showcasing the recently launched all-new Mitsubishi XFORCE. Around 60 MMPC employees, led by Executive Vice President for Manufacturing Division Manabu Higuchi and Vice President for Safety, Health, and Environment Marfel Ancheta, took part in the run. MMPC also offered free merchandise and refreshments to participants after the race.

MMPC’s participation in SILAKBO Fun Run 2025 is part of its broader CSR efforts focused on environmental conservation, community development, and sustainability. Supporting initiatives like SILAKBO underscores the company’s dedication to creating a greener future through active community engagement.
