Nitto Tires Philippines through its official distributor in the country, YHI Philippines, Inc., pledges support to the 2023 Great Philippine Overland Loop spearheaded by Mototesto Overland Equipment. Nitto Tires is the official tire partner of the 20-day overland adventure that is set to circumnavigate the Philippines.
Happening on September 24 to October 13, 2023, the Great Philippine Overland Loop will consist of 20 4×4 off-road rigs that are set to travel over 6,500-kilometers and will traverse through 38 provinces in the country. Emphasizing the extreme of this adventure, the overlanding team is set to take on six RORO (roll-on/roll-off) ship crossings.
One of the main goals of the Great Philippine Overland Loop is to showcase the beauty of each and every town and province that the expedition will explore, as well as highlight the different cultures in the country. Also, the expedition aims to inspire, both local and foreign, tourists to travel and explore more of the Philippines by means of overlanding.
Present during the contract signing of the partnership between two companies are Mototesto Overland Equipment CEO Tim Tuason and YHI Philippines, Inc. – Nitto Tires Philippines General Manager Jason Delloso.
Expressing his delight to be part of this adventure, Delloso shared, “this will be an epic journey and Nitto Tires is proud to be part of this momentous event that pays tribute to the beauty of the Philippines, promote inter-island travel and boost local tourism.”

According to Tuason, the 20-day overland adventure of circumnavigating around the Philippines will be documented by an onboard production team. Helping to promote local tourism in every town and province that the expedition will visit, all raw footage that will be taken during the trip will be available to all local tourism departments. The whole adventure will be presented via a coffee table book and a four-part YouTube series.
