NLEX and Valenzuela LGU Foster Youth Development Through Skateboarding Competition

NLEX Corporation continues to strengthen its collaboration with local government units to uplift its host communities, particularly the youth. On February 15, Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC) President and COO Arrey Perez served as the guest of honor at a skateboarding competition held during the grand opening of the Valenzuela Skate and Paw Park in Brgy. Karuhatan.

Highlighting the growing partnership between NLEX and Valenzuela City, Perez emphasized the company’s commitment to supporting sports development. “We are dedicated to fostering athletic growth within the communities we serve. It is an honor to work alongside Mayor Wes Gatchalian and the City of Valenzuela for this inaugural skateboarding competition, which aims to inspire and showcase the talents of our youth. We look forward to more meaningful collaborations in the future.”

Mayor Wes Gatchalian expressed his gratitude for Perez and the entire MVP Group, known for its unwavering support of Filipino athletes. “The City of Valenzuela sincerely thanks the NLEX family and Sir Arrey for their support. Being a sports enthusiast himself, he truly understands my vision. We had a great conversation earlier about our shared goal of empowering young Valenzuelanos through sports.”

MPTC and NLEX remain steadfast in their mission to drive positive change through community initiatives, reinforcing their commitment to nation-building and youth empowerment.
