NLEX Corporation is rolling out road upgrades to improve travel across its expressway network. A portion of toll fees is allocated for maintenance, ensuring roads remain in top condition.
“Our annual maintenance program enhances road quality for safety and convenience,” said NLEX OIC and CFO Maria Theresa Wells.
Recent upgrades include completed heavy pavement maintenance on the Bocaue-Burol stretch, ongoing asphalt overlays, patching, and repainting of infrastructure. New road signs and toll booth refurbishments will be finished by May, with guardrail and fence restorations in progress. Bridge retrofitting was completed in 2024, while Marilao River Bridge repairs are set for March 2025.
