ACMobility has teamed up with Shell Philippines Corporation will bring more electric vehicle (EV) charging stations to Shell service stations across the country. The move is part of ACMobility’s plan to roll out more than 2,500 charging points nationwide under its Philippine EV Infrastructure Network, designed to support long-distance EV travel across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
The first phase of the partnership will cover 50 Shell sites, with more than 100 charging points to be installed. Work begins in the last quarter of 2025 with 20 stations, while the remaining 30 will follow in 2026. Each site will be equipped with DC fast chargers ranging from 60 to 120kW.
Evro, ACMobility’s digital partner, will serve as the platform for EV users. Through the Evro app, motorists will be able to find charging stations, check charging progress, and pay for sessions. Evro had earlier linked up with Shell to support its Shell Recharge network, and this new project takes that collaboration further with a broader rollout.

The deal with Shell adds to ACMobility’s expansion of charging hubs in key urban centers such as Makati, Taguig, and Cebu, and along routes connecting major cities nationwide. By leveraging Shell’s wide network of service stations, the project aims to make charging more accessible and reduce range anxiety, particularly for first-time EV owners.
“Shell is one of the most trusted service providers for motorists, with sites in key areas nationwide. ACMobility is pleased to welcome Shell as a partner in delivering the Philippine EV Infrastructure Network. Beyond expanding infrastructure, this collaboration supports the growing EV community and strengthens the country’s transition to sustainable mobility,” said Carla Buencamino, Head of Mobility Infrastructure at ACMobility.
For Shell, the partnership is part of its shift beyond traditional fuels. “By opening our stations to host ACMobility’s charging infrastructure, we are helping create a more reliable and accessible network for EV drivers nationwide,” said Jolo Valdez, Head of Non-Fuel Retail and E-Mobility at Shell.
