Suzuki Motorcycles Philippines started the year by gathering the motoring media and vloggers for the Suzuki Full Throttle Ahead Kick-off Ride 2024. No less than Suzuki PH President Koichiro Hirao welcomed the participants and thanked them for their unwavering support to the brand in 2023.

Suzuki’s sub-400 scooter, backbone, and underbone models, from the Avenis to the V-Strom 250 SX were lined up at their headquarters in Calamba, Laguna which was the take-off point. The motoring beat passed through the scenic Alaminos Bypass Road going to Lipa, Padre Garcia, and finally to Laiya in San Juan, Batangas at the La Luz Beach Resort, making it a 110 kilometer-ride.

Suzuki PH’s motorcycle sales were up last year compared to their numbers in 2022, according to Joey Salavarria, Motorcycle Sales and Marketing Division Head. He gave credit to a number of models launched last year namely, the Burgman Street 125 EX, the V-Strom variants 1050DE and 800DE, the GSX-8S, and a new variant of their best-selling underbone Smash, the Smash Fi.
“For 2024, Suzuki is scheduled to introduce new models for both regular and high performing bikes,” shared Edelyn Yanilla, Group head for Marketing Communications.
