Suzuki Philippines’ Motorcycle Division wrapped up the Luzon leg of the Suzuki Burgman Econo Run last May 11, 2024. Finally, the official results are out, highlighting the Burgman’s Street Standard and SE variants fuel efficiency ratings at 94.6 km/L and 76.52 km/L, respectively.

The event began at the Suzuki Antipolo Motorcycle City 3S Shop and saw nearly 70 riders and 30 media and motovloggers competing in the fuel-efficiency challenge to Batis Aramin Resort and Hotel in Lucban, Quezon. The route included the bustling streets of Antipolo and the twisty, uphill and downhill roads of Teresa, Morong, Pililia, Famy, Pagsanjan, and Louisiana, leading to the picturesque town of Lucban.

Participants followed set parameters along a shared route in a convoy, maintaining a suggested speed of 40kph to 60kph, with adjustments for traffic. Riders were prohibited from turning off their engines, and marshals ensured adherence to these rules, with disqualification for non-compliance.

The Suzuki Burgman Street Standard and EX variants were the featured motorcycles, renowned for their fuel economy and comfortable riding experience. Previous legs of the Burgman Street Econo Run in Visayas (April 13) and Mindanao (April 20) recorded fuel efficiency ratings of 93.70 km/L and 84.4 km/L, respectively.

The Luzon leg generated high anticipation among Burgman Street riders and motorcycle enthusiasts nationwide, with participants exceeding expectations by surpassing the results of the Visayas and Mindanao legs.
