The Newly-Launched DBX S is Aston Martin’s Most Poerful SUV Today

Aston Martin is pleased to announce the launch of the DBX S, a new flagship variant in the DBX lineup. Featuring advanced engineering technologies derived from the forthcoming Valhalla hypercar, the DBX S is designed to deliver class-leading performance with a focus on dynamic precision, reduced weight, and elevated design language.

Powering the DBX S is an uprated version of Aston Martin’s 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine, now delivering 727PS—a 20PS increase over the DBX707. Enhanced turbocharger components and engine internals contribute to stronger high-end performance and a 0-62mph sprint of 3.3 seconds. Mated to a 9-speed wet-clutch transmission, the DBX S enables variable torque distribution—up to 100% to the rear wheels—and refined gear shifts for optimal control in Sport and Sport+ modes.

Significant attention has been paid to intelligent weight management. An optional carbon fibre roof, new 23-inch magnesium wheels, and lightweight components such as a polycarbonate grille and reprofiled rear diffuser reduce kerb weight while enhancing the vehicle’s agility and responsiveness. The revised suspension system with adaptive air springs and electronic dampers delivers exceptional roll control—limited to 1.5 degrees—providing sports car-like handling in a high-riding SUV.

Visually distinct, the DBX S features a black vaned grille, re-sculpted quad exhausts, and a new lower livery available in three exclusive finishes. Carbon fibre detailing is available throughout, while solid metal ‘S’ badging with red enamel reinforces the SUV’s elevated performance status.

The interior complements the exterior enhancements with bespoke herringbone seat patterns, Alcantara and semi-aniline leather finishes, and custom treadplates and plaques featuring the ‘S’ emblem. Aston Martin’s proprietary infotainment system debuts with a redesigned cabin architecture and offers two premium audio options: an 800W 14-speaker system or an optional 1,600W Bowers & Wilkins surround system with 23 speakers, engineered specifically for the DBX S interior environment.

Continuing Aston Martin’s ‘S’ lineage, which began with the Vanquish S in 2004, the DBX S underscores the brand’s dedication to producing lighter, faster, and more dynamically capable vehicles. Orders are now open, with deliveries expected to commence in Q4 2025.
