Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) proudly announces the return of the TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Philippine Cup (TGR Philippine Cup), the country’s premier motorsports series. Formerly known as the TGR Vios Cup, the 2025 season promises thrilling races and exciting innovations to bring motorsports closer to Filipinos.
The season opener at Clark International Speedway will feature intense competition across Novice, Sporting, and Super Sporting Classes in both Sprint and Endurance Races. It will go green on March 22.
Fresh Faces and a New Legacy Class
Notable racers returning to the Novice Class include TMP President Masando Hashimoto, Reph Bangsil, and media personalities John Rey San Diego and Pablo Salapantan. New challengers include Arianne Bautista, sim racer Luis Moreno, and media racer Ian Magbanua.
2024 Novice Class Champion Russel Reyes and runner-up Jamil Lacuna advance to the Sporting Class, competing alongside Kody Ng.
A special highlight of the 2025 season is the introduction of the Legacy Class, bringing back former Vios Cup racers and third-gen Vios owners for a competitive revival.
Fan Engagement: Club Race, Track Day, and More
Fans can look forward to enhanced engagement opportunities, including the newly introduced Club Race, where members of GR Yaris, GR Supra, and GR 86 car clubs will compete in a 5-lap challenge. The fan-friendly atmosphere extends to:
- Track Day access for non-racing club members
- New GR Yaris debut on the track
- GR Supra, GR 86, and club car displays
- Official GR merchandise booths
- Drifting and gymkhana exhibitions by pro drivers
- TGR GT Cup experience for e-racing enthusiasts
- Live performance by Filipino alternative rock band Hale
All activities are free of charge, with live streaming available on TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Philippines’ Facebook and YouTube pages starting at 8:30 AM.

The TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Philippine Cup is presented by Petron (Official Fuel & Lubricants Partner) and GT Radial (Official Tire Partner), with support from Toyota Financial Services Philippines, myTOYOTA Wallet, Denso, AVT, 3M, ROTA, Tuason Racing, OMP, and Kinto One.
