VinFast Philippines has officially become a member of the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (CAMPI), reinforcing its commitment to the local automotive industry and sustainable transportation.

Established in 1995, CAMPI represents the country’s major automotive manufacturers, accounting for over 92 percent of Philippine auto sales as of May 2025. The organization plays a key role in shaping industry policies and promoting a self-sustaining automotive ecosystem by working closely with the government and private sector stakeholders. Its initiatives support investment, employment, skills development, environmental stewardship, and road safety.

By joining CAMPI, VinFast aligns itself with the country’s top automotive players to support the development of policies and programs that promote innovation and long-term growth, especially in the area of electrification.

“We are proud to announce VinFast’s official membership in CAMPI, the leading automotive industry association in the Philippines,” said Ms. Doan Thi Mai Anh, CEO of VinFast Philippines. “This is a significant milestone in our mission to deliver clean, smart, and sustainable mobility solutions to Filipinos. As part of CAMPI, we look forward to working with industry leaders and regulators to support responsible vehicle manufacturing, the expansion of EV infrastructure, and the acceleration of the country’s transition to electric mobility.”

CAMPI President Atty. Rommel Gutierrez welcomed the addition: “We are honored to welcome VinFast, Vietnam’s pioneering electric vehicle brand, to CAMPI. Their entry marks an exciting development in the industry, particularly in the growing EV segment. VinFast’s innovative and environmentally responsible approach is aligned with our goal of advancing the Philippine automotive sector toward a more sustainable future.”

Since entering the Philippine market a year ago, VinFast has steadily expanded its footprint through an evolving range of smart electric vehicles, competitive sales programs, and improved after-sales service.

Backed by Vingroup, Vietnam’s largest conglomerate, and under the leadership of Chairman Pham Nhat Vuong, VinFast is building a regional ecosystem aimed at a “Green Future.” This includes investments in EV infrastructure and service networks—first established in Vietnam and now being extended to markets like the Philippines.

The brand’s local lineup includes the VF 3, VF 5, VF 6, VF 7, and VF 9. Among these, the VinFast VF 6 is expected to play a leading role in boosting EV adoption in the country. With strong performance in Vietnam and growing interest in Europe, the VF 6 presents a compelling, cost-effective option for Filipinos exploring sustainable vehicle choices.
