VinFast has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Motech Automotive Service Centers, its franchisor and operator in the Philippines, to expand the service network for VinFast electric vehicles (EVs) in the country. This partnership underscores VinFast’s commitment to supporting the growing demand for EVs in the Philippines while advancing its goal of promoting green mobility across the region.
Under the agreement, VinFast and Motech will work together to accredit 63 Motech service workshops as authorized VinFast service centers. These centers will provide comprehensive repair, warranty, and maintenance services for VinFast EVs, ensuring quality support for Filipino customers.
As part of its broader strategy to enhance customer experience, VinFast plans to establish more than 100 service workshops across the Philippines in 2025. The partnership with Motech plays a crucial role in expanding VinFast’s after-sales network and strengthening its presence in the market.
Motech’s service centers will adhere to VinFast’s stringent standards for facilities, equipment, and personnel, ensuring high-quality service and the availability of genuine VinFast parts. To support this expansion, VinFast will provide specialized training and technical assistance to Motech’s personnel, ensuring seamless service delivery as the number of VinFast EVs in the Philippines continues to grow.
Motech currently operates a vast network of auto service centers across the country, spanning from Tuguegarao in the north to Metro Manila and down to Mindanao. This extensive footprint positions Motech as a key partner in providing nationwide service coverage for VinFast customers.
Beyond service expansion, VinFast and Motech will explore additional business collaboration opportunities, including information sharing and joint marketing initiatives to enhance EV after-sales services in Southeast Asia.
