Motorcycle ownership in the Philippines has surged in recent years, driven by the rise of ride-hailing services, e-commerce, and the booming food delivery industry. With their unmatched convenience in navigating traffic and superior fuel efficiency, motorcycles have become an essential part of Filipino lives.
In response to this growing demand, the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) is dedicated to making motorcycle ownership more accessible to Filipinos. Through its range of BPI Motorcycle Loans and the newly launched 5-6-7 Motor-Sulit Promo, the bank offers affordable and flexible financing solutions tailored to the needs of aspiring motorcycle owners.
“Motorcycles have transformed the lives of many Filipinos by providing livelihood opportunities and improving daily commutes. For countless individuals, owning a motorcycle means freedom, convenience, and economic upliftment,” said Dexter Lloyd Cuajotor, Head of Retail Lending and Bancassurance at BPI. “With the BPI 5-6-7 Motor-Sulit Promo, we aim to make this aspiration a reality. By offering accessible financing options, we empower Filipinos to enhance their quality of life and explore new opportunities.”
The BPI 5-6-7 Motor-Sulit Promo offers:
- Php 500 discount on monthly amortizations for a 12-month loan term
- Php 600 discount for a 24-month loan term
- Php 700 discount for a 36-month loan term
The promo applies to brand-new motorcycle units from Premiumbikes/Summit Superbikes dealerships nationwide, with a minimum loan amount of Php 65,000. Flexible payment terms of 12, 24, and 36 months are available to suit customers’ budgets.
This special offer runs until December 31, 2024, for motorcycle loan applications made online, through BPI branches, partner stores, or Premiumbikes/Summit Superbikes dealers. Applications submitted within the promo period and booked on or before January 31, 2025, will qualify.
By expanding its motorcycle loan portfolio, BPI aims to support greater mobility for Filipinos, empowering them to unlock new possibilities and improve their quality of life. This initiative aligns with industry forecasts, including a report by SEAsia Stats and the Motorcycle Development Program Participants Association, projecting a rise in motorcycle sales across ASEAN by the end of 2024.
