Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) celebrates its 60th Anniversary in the local automotive industry with an exposition showcasing the company’s past, present, and future.
MMPC President and CEO Takeshi Hara opened the expo sharing the past six decades of Mitsubishi in the country. Hara also teased of the upcoming arrival of the all-new Mitsubishi Triton pickup truck. Which also indicate that the brand is bidding farewell to the Strada nameplate.

As per the MMPC President and CEO the all-new Mitsubishi Triton pickup truck is set to be launched in January 2024. The upcoming Triton will be based on the XRT Concept. Further details of the Philippine-spec Triton will be announced.in the future.
Aside from the current MMPC lineup of the L300, Mirage, Mirage G4, Montero Sport, Outlander PHEV, Strada, and Outlander PHEV, iconic Mitsubishi models of the past are also on display at the expo. Giving a glimpse of the brand’s future offerings are the Mitsubishi XFC Concept and the Mitsubishi XRT Concept.
The Mitsubishi Motors Philippines 60th Anniversary Expo is happening at the World Trade Center in Pasay City until August 13, Sunday.
