Traveling, whether for leisure across the Philippines or business deals overseas, can be a stressful endeavor. The pre-travel chaos of packing and managing documents can be overwhelming, and that’s without the added pressure of arranging timely airport transportation. 

Addressing this issue, Grab – your trusted partner for safe, convenient, and reliable mobility – launches its latest service: Advance Booking. This new feature ensures on-time rides to the airport with the GrabAirport fleet, providing travelers with peace of mind.

Grab Advance Booking: On-Time Rides Guaranteed

Forget the stress of catching flights during early mornings or peak hours. Grab Advance Booking ensures timely rides every time.

  • Plan Ahead with Ease: The Advance Booking feature allows passengers to plan their trips up to seven days in advance or as late as two hours before the scheduled ride.
  • Reliable On-Time Pick-Up: With Grab Advance Booking, driver-partners are guaranteed to be punctual. In case of any disruption, the platform quickly reassigns the ride to another driver-partner, ensuring a successful trip. Passengers will receive a Php-100 courtesy credit if the driver arrives late for a pre-scheduled ride.
  • Extended Wait Time for Convenience: A 15-minute grace period is provided for Advance Booking rides, allowing drivers to accommodate minor delays and giving passengers additional time to reach the pick-up location.

Easy Booking Process

Booking with Grab Advance Booking is simple. Passengers can select “Advance Booking” on the Grab transport page, enter the date and time of their ride, along with their pick-up location and airport terminal drop-off. Regular updates and reminders about the ride status will be sent to passengers leading up to the scheduled pick-up time. Passengers can chat and check in with their assigned driver 45 minutes before the scheduled trip through the app.

For safety and convenience, Advance Booking rides can accommodate up to three passengers with three pieces of luggage.

Protecting Driver-Partners

To protect the income of driver-partners dedicated to Advance Booking, Grab has implemented measures to address last-minute cancellations. Passengers will be charged the full fare for cancellations made less than an hour before the scheduled pick-up time or if they are unreachable 15 minutes past the scheduled time. No charges will apply for cancellations made at least one hour before the scheduled pick-up time.

Hassle-Free Airport Transfers

Grab Advance Booking enhances the travel experience for both leisure and business travelers heading to the airport, allowing them to start their trip stress-free. Currently, this service is exclusive to trips to Metro Manila airports via the GrabAirport fleet, launched last year in collaboration with the MIAA. Expansion to other cities and regions outside the National Capital Region is expected in the second half of 2024.
