The JMC Grand Avenue and Vigus are JMC’s entries in the ever-competitive local pickup segment. Introduced in early 2024, both models are offered in 4×2 and 4×4 configurations, with starting prices at P1,221,000 for the Grand Avenue and P959,000 for the Vigus.
Now, JMC Philippines, under its official distributor, Astara, is rolling back the suggested retail prices of the Grand Avenue and Vigus. And this isn’t limited to just a few variants. The full range of both pickups is included in the price drop. According to JMC Philippines, the move is part of its effort to bring quality and innovation closer to Filipino drivers.
For a limited time, buyers can get the Grand Avenue and Vigus at much lower price points. The base 2024 Grand Avenue 4×2 MT now starts at P961,000, while the entry-level 2024 Vigus 4×2 MT is priced at just P814,000. That’s a straight P260,000 and P145,000 reduction, respectively.
If you’re after the top-spec variants, the 2025 Grand Avenue 4×4 AT, originally priced at P1,569,000, now sells for P1,369,000. That’s a P200,000 difference. The range-topping 2025 Vigus 4×4 AT, once tagged at P1,110,000, has been brought down to P965,000.
Prefer something in between? There are several mid-grade trims available as well. Take the 2025 Grand Avenue 4×2 MT, for example. It was previously stickered at P1,221,000, but it’s now offered at P991,000. As for the 2025 Vigus 4×2 MT, it shares the same new price as its 2024 counterpart.
JMC says the Grand Avenue is the largest pickup in its class. Under the hood is a 2.3-liter turbo diesel engine rated at 177 hp. Automatic variants pull 450 Nm of torque, while manuals deliver 400 Nm. With a longer wheelbase, the Grand Avenue is built to meet the needs of both daily business and weekend getaways.
Meanwhile, the JMC Vigus is equipped with a 2.5-liter turbo diesel engine that puts out 131 hp and 315 Nm of torque. Designed to serve both as a recreational truck and a reliable workhorse, the Vigus offers a good balance of utility and value.
JMC Philippines says the price cuts will remain in place until September 2025.
