Suzuki Philippines is proud to announce a remarkable achievement with the V-STROM 250 SX, dubbed the “Master of Adventure,” after its successful conquest of the Cordillera Adventure Tour Category 3 alongside V-STROM Adventure Philippines (VAP). A passionate group of V-STROM riders took on the rugged terrain of the Cordillera region, demonstrating the versatility and capability of the lightweight adventure bike, solidifying its reputation as a true Master of Adventure.

The V-STROM 250SX’s lightweight design and agile handling made it the ideal companion for the challenging Cordillera trails. Its powerful engine delivered the torque needed to tackle steep inclines and technical sections, while the bike’s comfortable ergonomics ensured long hours in the saddle without fatigue.

The VAP Club, known for their love of exploration and adventure on higher cc V-STROM motorcycles, had previously conquered Cordillera Adventure Tour Categories 1 and 2. This time, they showcased the V-STROM 250SX in the more grueling Category 3. The bike’s combination of agility and power made it the perfect choice to take on the demanding mountains of the Cordilleras.

The seasoned team of riders included VAP President Pat Cunanan, Willie Eustaquio, Ryan Tolentino, Joseph Fernando, and Henry Gabriel, accompanied by motorcycle media correspondent Ian Gongona. Together, they journeyed through over 1,000 kilometers with 11,542 curves and 23 checkpoints, enduring various weather conditions and terrain. Adventure MotoVlogger Mcleen Amoguis (Boy Perstaym) also joined the expedition to document their journey and share their experiences.

The adventure began in Baguio City, heading toward the 2nd Highest Point in Atok, Benguet, before proceeding to Lubuagan and concluding the first day in Tabuk, Kalinga. On the second day, they navigated the twisty roads of Namaltugan, crossed the Mt. Kilang Pass, and reached the Blazing Mountains of the Gods, ultimately finishing in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte despite low visibility and challenging weather. Their third day led them through the rugged terrains of Malibcong, into Sagada and Taccong, and across the Aluling Bridge in Ilocos Sur, ending the day at Cervantes. The final stretch took them from Cervantes to Quirino Skyline, Gregorio del Pilar, Sigay, and back to Baguio City, completing a four-day adventure spanning over 1,300 kilometers.

The team’s epic journey across diverse landscapes, unpredictable weather, and treacherous trails proved not only the capabilities of the V-STROM 250SX but also the deep camaraderie among the riders. Their determination, resilience, and support for one another shone through as they navigated high altitudes, rocky paths, and winding roads, all under monsoon conditions.

This marked Suzuki’s first participation in such a challenging event, further solidifying the brand’s image as a manufacturer of reliable and capable motorcycles. The V-STROM 250SX’s success in the Cordillera Adventure Tour reinforces its appeal to riders seeking adventure both on and off the road.

The VAP’s triumph in the Cordillera Adventure Challenge not only cements the V-STROM 250SX as a formidable adventure bike but also highlights the spirit and skill of its riders. Their legendary journey will undoubtedly inspire a new generation of adventure enthusiasts to push boundaries and explore the unknown. It’s “Oras na Para Mag Adventure Ride” with the V-STROM 250 SX!
