Harley-Davidson is thrilled to announce the launch of Harley-Davidson Custom Kings Asia 2024—the premier custom motorcycle build competition open to Harley-Davidson enthusiasts, customers, and builders across Asia. This year, participants from Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macao, Singapore, and India are invited to showcase their creativity by entering their custom or accessorized Harley-Davidson motorcycles into the competition.
The contest ran until October 1, 2024, and promises to deliver an exciting display of innovation and craftsmanship from passionate motorcycle builders.
“At Harley-Davidson, we champion the freedom of expression and individualism,” said Mark O’Flaherty, Managing Director of Harley-Davidson’s Asia Emerging Markets & India. “The Custom Kings Asia 2024 is a platform for creativity, and we are excited to see the inspiring, one-of-a-kind builds that will emerge. This competition is a true celebration of passion and craftsmanship.”
Participants will be judged across several key categories: creativity, craftsmanship, innovation, and overall aesthetic. The jury will also evaluate the level of customization and the unique story behind each build.
How the Winners Will Be Chosen: The results will be determined by a combination of public votes and scores from a jury panel selected by Harley-Davidson. Public voting will run from October 5 to October 21, 2024, with the top three finalists in each category—Customer, Custom Builder, and Dealer—advancing to the grand finale, King of the Kings, at Asia Harley Days™ 2024.
Voting for the best custom builds will be open on the Harley-Davidson Custom Kings Asia website starting October 5, 2024. These custom creations will also be displayed at Harley-Davidson dealerships and during the Custom Kings Open Houses on October 12 and October 19, 2024. The winners and finalists will be announced online on October 24, 2024.
Grand Finale at Asia Harley Days™ 2024: Finalists will receive full sponsorship for travel, accommodation, and bike transportation to the grand finale at Asia Harley Days™ 2024, taking place on November 15-16, 2024, at Singha Park, Chiang Rai, Thailand. The grand finale will also welcome wild card entries from other renowned custom motorcycle shows and Harley Owners Group™ (H.O.G.) rallies.
The overall winner will not only earn the coveted King of the Kings trophy but will also receive an all-expenses-paid trip to the Harley-Davidson Homecoming™ 2025 in Milwaukee.
