In a move to reinforce its long-term presence in the Philippine market, VinFast has signed new collaboration agreements with four local service providers: Goodyear Philippines, Tire King and Rubber Products, Power Tread Services, and Marcjan Cavite. These partnerships will support the Vietnamese automaker’s plan to build a network of over 100 authorized service workshops across the country by the end of 2025.
The agreements, comprising both MOUs and SLAs, outline a shared commitment to offer comprehensive maintenance and repair solutions for VinFast’s growing fleet of electric vehicles, all delivered in line with the company’s international service benchmarks.
Goodyear Philippines, as a lead partner, is set to open 50 service workshops, followed by Marcjan Cavite with eight locations. Tire King and Power Tread Services will each contribute seven additional workshops to the network.
All participating centers will be required to meet rigorous standards for infrastructure, tooling, and technician certification. They will exclusively use certified parts and offer genuine VinFast services to ensure consistent vehicle performance and customer satisfaction.
To support these efforts, VinFast will provide technical training, consultations, and operational guidance, reinforcing its partners’ capabilities and ensuring a uniform customer experience nationwide.
This latest development follows earlier agreements with JIGA and Motech, expanding VinFast’s strategic groundwork for a full-service electric vehicle ecosystem in the country.
Pham Sanh Chau, CEO of VinFast Asia, remarked: “Partnering with trusted local service providers in the Philippines demonstrates our ongoing dedication to delivering a reliable EV ownership experience. These alliances form a strong backbone for our growth and align with our mission to promote a greener, more sustainable way of life.”
Nearly a year since launching in the Philippines, VinFast continues to gain traction through its smart electric vehicle lineup, innovative ownership packages, and expanding after-sales infrastructure. The company is applying its successful EV service model from Vietnam to Southeast Asia, with the Philippines serving as a key market in its regional expansion.
