Fresh from its recent brand relaunch in the Philippines, Geely, through its official local distributor Geely Motor Philippines Corporation (GMP), is stepping up its efforts to reintroduce itself and its lineup to more Filipinos. One of the ways it’s doing this is through a series of mall-based displays featuring the Geely EX5 Max and the Geely Okavango Elite.
The Geely mall tour will be at the Alabang Town Center (ATC) from August 14 to 17, 2025. Another leg will follow from August 28 to September 3, 2025, at the SM Mall of Asia. Visitors can get a closer look at the EX5 Max small electric SUV and the Okavango Elite hybrid SUV, check out their features, and even schedule a test drive to experience them on the road.

Geely says these mall tours come at a good time, given rising fuel prices and the growing interest in EVs and hybrids. Among the options it’s putting forward is the Geely EX5 Max.
The EX5 Max runs on Geely’s “11-in-1” electric drive motor system paired with a 60.22 kWh battery pack, producing 160 hp and 320 Nm of torque. On a full charge, it can go up to 420 km. To address range anxiety, the battery supports both standard and fast charging—fully charging in about six hours with a regular charger, or from 30% to 80% in under 20 minutes with a fast charger.
Launched alongside the EX5 Max last June, the Okavango Elite serves as Geely’s entry into the hybrid midsize SUV segment. It offers a roomy seven-seat layout with configurable seating for more passenger or cargo space. Power comes from a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine paired with an electric motor, delivering 190 hp and 300 Nm of torque.

The EX5 Max is priced at P1.79 million, while the Okavango Elite goes for P1.36 million. As part of the promo running with the mall tour, customers who purchase an EX5 Max on or before September 25, 2025, will also get a free Meizu Note 22 smartphone.
